With over 20+ years of leadership and management experience, my life was filled with a good measure of outward success.

I spent more than half of my career in corporate roles, and I advanced quickly with the big corporate salary to match.

On the outside, I looked like I had it all together.

But the truth was finding the balance of being a single parent, the ambition of 'climbing the corporate ladder' and the pull of wanting to have something of my own... I was drowning.

My Dad was an entrepreneur. I watched him hustle and make deals. While growing up, I saw what the 'hustle' did to my family, and I wanted NOTHING to do with it.

However, the desire for freedom was in my DNA.

From 18 years old, I tried every WFH business out there. I watched up close all those who got to the top. They all sold the 'hustle' and I tried to be like them.

What I didn't know was that success meant growth from the inside out.

In 2014, I was desperate. I needed to make a change.

My job was stressful. My personal life was suffering. My mental health was suffering. I was trying to build a business, but I lacked the mentorship and guidance needed to be successful.

In 2016, I burned out.
